John H. Klingler, Certified Public Accountant, is the founder of Klingler & Associates, P.C., bringing over 25 years of experience to his clients and staff. Through the years, he has provided expertise in accounting and auditing, income tax preparation, consulting and small business development to a large array of clients. Today, he continues to deliver his expertise and maintain relationships with the individual client to the large corporation.
Prior to opening his own firm, he was a shareholder of a local accounting firm.
Mr. Klingler attained an Associates degree in the Arts from Harrisburg Area Community College and then continued on to The Pennsylvania State University's Harrisburg campus, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Outside of the office, he is very much involved with the community. He is on the Advisory Board of the Murata Business Center, Treasurer of the Carlisle Area Personnel Association, and a Board member of the Downtown Carlisle Association. He also volunteers his time with Harrisburg Area Community College's business development program, The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. In addition, he is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA & PICPA).
Klingler & Associates, P.C. welcomed Ms. Pagano, Certified Public Accountant, to the firm in January 2006. She is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, payroll taxes and individual and business tax returns. She also provides consulting services on the setup and use of Quickbooks®.
Preceding her position at Klingler & Associates, P.C., she was a manager for a local public accounting firm for over 17 years.
Ms. Pagano graduated from Elizabethtown College. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in 1992 and she is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor®. Ms. Pagano also holds a designation of Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning from The National Institute of Excellence in Professional Education LLC.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Estate Planning Council of Cumberland County. In addition, she is very much involved with her church, where she served as vice-president and president on the church council in past years. She also contributed her time to the Halcyon Hill Homeowners Association as treasurer for four years.
With over 25 years of small business experience, Ms. Kurtz joined the Klingler & Associates, P.C. team in January 2006. Ms. Kurtz specializes in providing services to the real estate and construction industries. She prepares individual and business taxes, payroll taxes, and financial statements. Her expertise also includes assistance to businesses with the set up and training of Quickbooks® and Peachtree software. Clients range from sole proprietors and limited liability companies, to S Corporations, partnerships and C corporations.
Before entering public accounting, she was the financial manager for her family construction business for over 20 years. For several years, Ms. Kurtz worked during tax seasons for a firm in York, PA. After the retirement of the family business, Ms. Kurtz provided accounting services to a Central PA accounting firm.
Ms. Kurtz graduated with a Bachelor's degree from The Pennsylvania State University and she is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor®.
Ms. Kurtz is actively involved in the community, has served on the Newberry Township Zoning and Hearing Board, and is currently a member of the Greater Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Martin began her position as Marketing Director and Administrative Assistant at Klingler & Associates, P.C. when the firm opened its doors in September 2005. She assists the firm with public relations and marketing, as well as administrative support.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Martin assisted a local accounting firm and served as Events Coordinator for the Greater Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Martin attended Goldey Beacom and Dale Carnegie Training, where she gained experience in public relations and computer skills.
She is highly involved with the community, contributing her time to the Kiwanis Club of Carlisle, Kiwanis Club of Carlisle Foundation, Cumberland County Historical Society, and Ways and Means for the Downtown Carlisle Association. She served on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and acted as part of the Ambassadors Committee for the Greater Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Martin also provides administrative assistance to the Carlisle Area Personnel Association.
Ms. Griffie is the firm's Office Manager, assisting the firm with clerical duties since September 2005. She also provides bookkeeping for clients and handles the client billings.
Prior to her position at Klingler & Associates, P.C., Ms. Griffie worked for a local accounting firm for over 15 years, conducting general office duties, handling payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and installing necessary computer programs.
Ms. Griffie is actively involved with her church.
